Are you ready to reinvigorate your sacred Jewish community?

Lifecycles
Are you looking for a meaningful life cycle ritual that engages participants, honors diverse traditions and backgrounds, and celebrates and honors family and community?
In collaboration with you, Cantor Will can design life cycle ceremonies deeply rooted in tradition while meeting the unique needs of your family.
Bar/Bat/Bet Mitzvah
Cantor Will can provide full leadership of the ceremony (leading the ritual moments and all the music), calling your child to the Torah as a young adult, as well as work with your family to create liturgy, readings, and opportunities for participation and meaning. She will work with Hebrew tutors, and support your student in the learning of their prayers and Torah portion, as well as discuss the meaning of the day and help prepare a d’var Torah (words of Torah in the form of a speech).
Wedding
Many couples appreciate that Cantor Will brings the full leadership of a wedding in word and in song, and also spends multiple sessions with the couple to think deeply about married life and the opportunities and challenges that blending two families together can bring. She is deeply committed to supporting the diversity of couples and their families, and weaves in gentle explanations and inclusive language to make sure that every guest feels a part of marking this sacred transition for the pair and a valuable part of the couple’s new life together.
Funeral/Memorial/Unveiling
Cantor Will has decades of experience as congregational clergy guiding families through end of life transitions. She will help the family navigate funeral and other arrangements, meet with the family to prepare intake materials for a eulogy, and craft a meaningful ritual of farewell using music, poetry, and sacred texts to help loved ones say goodbye.
Baby Naming
In addition to a ritual circumcision for a boy, many families would like meaningful rituals of welcome for their new born children - regardless of gender. Working with families to celebrate the heritage and backgrounds of both parents, and honoring what it means to bring new life into a sacred community, Cantor Will can lead brief ceremonies of public name giving as children are welcomed into new homes.
Just a note to express our appreciation for helping to make the Memorial for our sister, Jennifer, truly memorable. We felt especially warm and close as you sang both songs and prayers to celebrate Jenn's life.
Many attendees commented on their enjoyment of the presentation, which was especially important to us as so many of them knew nothing about Jewish traditions, prayers or Hebrew.
Your contribution to the personally difficult day left us with the very good feeling that we had honored Jennifer as she would have wanted.

After attending several services that Rosalie officiated, we knew that we wanted to work with her for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. She instantly alleviated all our daughter's worries about not having been through traditional Hebrew school at a synogogue.
Rosalie was caring, easy to work with, and created the perfect personalized service for our family and friends. Plus, that beautiful voice!!
Rosalie did a fabulous job of making our daughter's Bat Mitzvah service warm, interactive, and beautiful. I can't recommend her enough.
